Our commitment in keeping our
patients safe during the pandemic
Safe place, trusted care
Everkeen Medical Centre is committed to providing the best medical care to our patients and our community. Your safety is our highest priority. During this crucial time with the pandemic, our commitment to offer you a safe and reliable place to receive care is more important than ever.
How we’re keeping our patients safe
We have taken a number of measurements in addition to our standard rigorous infection control measures to ensure our facilities remain a safe place for our patients to receive care confidently.
Temporary restricting policy on patients, visitors and staff:
We are scheduling appointments to ensure that fewer people are in our clinics at any given time
We are offering virtual consultations
Our policy restricts visitors to reduce the number of people to a minimum in our facilities, and therefore the risk of exposure between patients, visitors and staff
Masks and hand sanitiser:
All our staff wear highly protective medical shield and masks to ensure their safety and the safety of our patients
Masks for patients and visitors: all patients and anyone visiting our facilities will be required to wear a mask. You may wear your own or if you don’t have one, face masks are available at our reception upon request
Hand sanitiser is available at the reception and each of our treatment room. Everyone is asked to sanitise their hands when they enter our premises. Each member of our staff also sanitise their hands before and after each patient encounter.
Screening and testing:
We screen all patients and visitors for covid symptoms. You will be contacted by our clinic prior to your appointment to ask whether you are experiencing any symptoms
When you arrive for your appointment, you and anyone with you will also be asked about any respiratory infection symptoms you or others in your household may be experiencing
Our staff are screened for COVID-19 symptoms on a regular basis \
Cleaning and hygiene:
Common areas: areas such as waiting rooms, corridors and restrooms are cleaned and sanitised often with special attention to frequently touched surface
